Kathryn Jolley – Stop Smoking Facilitator

I tried my first cigarette when I was 14. It tasted awful, it made me cough, it made me sick and it was harsh on my throat. I persevered with another and then another and it took me a while to learn how to smoke.

20 years later, I had smoked at least a packet a day, sometimes two, every day until Saturday February 22nd 2015.

It was on that Saturday morning I arrived at an Allen Carr clinic in Melbourne. I was nervous and apprehensive. I was scared I would not be allowed to smoke again and at the same time afraid that I would.

That afternoon, I threw my full packet on the table and left a non-smoker. It felt a little strange, I just didn’t smoke. I went out for dinner that evening, enjoyed a meal and even sat with smokers outside. I just didn’t need or want to smoke.

To this day, I still have never even taken a puff of a single cigarette and I have no desire to. That’s what inspired me to become a facilitator and help other people see smoking they way I do. Having been a heavy smoker for over 20 years and now a happy non-smoker, thanks to Allen Carr, I see no reason to ever smoke any cigarette at all.

I look forward to helping any smoker become free.
